How to join Faversham and District u3a
New members are always VERY WELCOME. If you are interested in joining you may come along, as a visitor, to one of our regular monthly meetings which are listed on the Events page, to get a flavour of what goes on. Here you will be able to meet and chat to any of our Committee members, available Interest Group Coordinators and FaD u3a membership about matters that interest you. All our monthly meetings have a guest speaker and tea and coffee available. One of the committee has responsibility for looking after new members and there are regular coffee mornings for them to meet other new members and some of the committee
Joining
Application forms are available at the monthly meetings and our Treasurer will be present to take your completed form and fee, should you wish to join and give you your membership card. You can download the application form on this page and send it to the Membership Secretary along with your cheque to:

Fees
The membership fee is £23 per year. Membership year is from 1st April 2026 – 31st March 2027. This fee is reduced to £6 for members joining after December. Payment can be taken by card.
If you are a UK taxpayer we are able to reclaim tax on your membership fee as a donation. Please complete the Gift Aid page on your application form.
IMPORTANT: Please contact the Treasurer if you discontinue paying UK tax in the future.
